Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of metinstitution.com and your enrolment in any programme or mentorship session provided by Middle East Tech Institution.
Last updated: 3 August 2026
1. Who we are
Middle East Tech Institution operates the website metinstitution.com and provides the online technology programmes and mentorship sessions described on it. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the institution" mean Middle East Tech Institution, and "you" means the person enrolling or using this website.
You can reach us at any time at contact@metinstitution.com, which is the correct address for enquiries, enrolment, support, refunds and any question about these terms.
2. Enrolment
- Submitting an enquiry or enrolment request does not create a contract and does not charge you anything.
- A contract is formed when we confirm your place and you make your first payment.
- We may decline an enrolment. If we do, we will say why, and any payment made will be refunded in full.
- You must be at least 16 years old to enrol. Under 18s need the consent of a parent or guardian.
- You must give accurate information. Access is personal to you and may not be shared, resold or transferred.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices are in US dollars and are those published on the pricing page at the time you enrol.
- Your price is fixed for the programme you enrol in. Later price increases do not apply to you.
- Instalment plans total exactly the full bundle price. There is no interest or handling charge.
- Where you take an instalment plan, remaining instalments fall due on the dates confirmed at enrolment. If a payment fails, we will contact you before suspending access.
- Nothing renews automatically. There is no subscription and we do not retain your card details after the final payment.
- Any bank charges, currency conversion costs or local taxes payable at your end are your responsibility.
4. Refunds
- Programmes: a full refund is available if you request it within 7 days of your programme start date, for any reason. After 7 days, programme fees are non-refundable, because the material is downloadable from the start.
- Mentorship sessions: if a session was not useful, tell us within 48 hours and we will either arrange a replacement session with a different instructor at no cost, or refund that session.
- Unused pack sessions are refundable at the single-session rate of $65 for each session already used, deducted from what you paid.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval.
- If we cancel a programme before it starts, you receive a full refund regardless of timing.
5. What we provide
- Access to the recorded lesson material, project files and resources for the programme you purchased.
- Live sessions at the published frequency for the stated duration of the programme (12 months for the All-Access Pass).
- Access to the student community for the duration of your programme.
- A certificate of completion once you have completed the modules and submitted the capstone project.
Lifetime access means the recorded material, project files and future revisions to that programme remain available to you for as long as the institution operates the platform. It does not mean indefinite live sessions or indefinite instructor support, which are time-bound as described above. We state this plainly because the phrase is often used loosely elsewhere.
6. What we do not promise
- We do not guarantee employment, income, freelance clients or any specific career outcome.
- Our certificate is issued by us and is not an accredited academic qualification.
- We do not guarantee that any third-party tool, platform or service taught in a programme will remain available, free, or unchanged.
- Results depend on your own effort, time and circumstances, which are outside our control.
Third-party tools and affiliate links
We recommend third-party tools, hosting and services that we use and teach. Some of those recommendations carry affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you purchase through them — at no additional cost to you. We disclose this clearly at the point of recommendation, including verbally at the start of any live session in which affiliate links are shared.
Recommendations are made on merit. We do not recommend a product we would not teach, and no commission arrangement changes what appears in a curriculum. Following an affiliate link is entirely optional and has no effect on your programme, your grades or the support you receive. Any purchase you make from a third party is a contract between you and that third party, governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for their products, pricing or service. See our affiliate disclosure for full detail.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide your own computer and internet connection meeting the stated requirements.
- Pay any third-party costs disclosed on the programme page, such as Apple and Google developer account fees for the Mobile App Development programme.
- Behave respectfully towards instructors and other students. We may remove access without refund for harassment, abuse or disruption.
- Keep your account credentials confidential and not share access with others.
8. Intellectual property
- All course material, video, text, project files, templates and designs remain the property of the institution or its licensors.
- You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the material for your own learning.
- You may not record, copy, redistribute, resell, publish or use the material to teach others commercially.
- You own the projects you build. You are free to use them in your portfolio, show them to employers, and use them in your own commercial work.
- Live sessions are recorded. By attending, you consent to being recorded; if you prefer not to appear, keep your camera off and tell us.
9. Changes to programmes
We may update, improve or reorganise course material at any time, and you receive those updates at no cost. We may change live session times with reasonable notice. If we make a change that materially reduces what you paid for, you may request a proportionate refund.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, particularly regarding sharing access or redistributing material, or if a payment remains unpaid after we have contacted you. Where the breach is serious, no refund is due. You may stop using the service at any time; outside the refund window this does not entitle you to a refund.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with a programme or session is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost income, lost opportunities or lost business.
We take reasonable care to keep the website and platform available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we are not liable for interruptions caused by third-party providers, hosting, or events outside our reasonable control.
12. Website use
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this website, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a scale that degrades service, or submit false information through its forms.
13. Privacy
Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one published when you enrolled. If we make a material change affecting existing students, we will contact you directly.
15. Resolving a dispute
If something goes wrong, contact us first at contact@metinstitution.com. We commit to acknowledging any complaint within one business day and to working with you in good faith to resolve it directly. In our experience almost everything is settled at this stage, and we would always rather fix a problem than argue about it.
Nothing in these terms limits or affects any statutory consumer rights you have under the law of your own country of residence, including any rights relating to refunds, digital content or services bought online. Those rights apply in addition to the refund policy set out in section 4.
