There has never been more technology education available, and completion rates have never been worse. Middle East Tech Institution exists because the problem was never a shortage of material — it was the absence of structure, of a schedule, and of a person to ask.
The gap we are trying to close
Anyone with an internet connection can now access more programming instruction than a university degree contains, for free. And yet the number of people who set out to learn to code and actually arrive at competent, paid work remains stubbornly small.
The reason is not laziness and it is not intelligence. It is that self-directed learning removes every structure that makes education work: a sequence someone thought about, a deadline that exists outside your own willpower, other people going through the same thing, and someone qualified to answer the question that has blocked you for three days.
We put those back. Everything we do — the sequenced curricula, the weekly live class, the cohort, the project reviews — is an answer to a specific reason people give up.
What we are, plainly

Six principles we hold ourselves to
Nothing is assumed
Every module depends only on what came before it. If a concept is needed, it was taught — we do not gesture at things you are supposed to already know.
A live heartbeat every week
One scheduled session per week gives your studying a rhythm. It is the single biggest difference between finishing and quietly stopping in week five.
Projects, not exercises
Everything you build is something a client or employer could plausibly want. No toy examples that fall apart the moment you change one requirement.
Questions get answered
By a person who has done the work, in the live session or the community — not by a chatbot, a search suggestion or a link to the documentation you already read.
Regional reality
Hosting, payment gateways, client expectations, freelance rates and how work is actually found here — not advice written for a different market.
Honest claims
We do not guarantee jobs, invent salary figures, or publish testimonials we did not receive. We would rather convince you with the curriculum.
What we will not claim
Online education has a marketing problem. Guaranteed jobs, invented graduate salaries, testimonials from people who do not exist, countdown timers that reset every night. It is worth stating plainly where we stand, because you are about to consider giving us money.

- That we can guarantee you a job
- That any of this works without real effort from you
- That six weeks is enough to become a developer
- That we have thousands of graduates — we are new
- That our price is discounted "today only"
- Anything about student outcomes until we have real ones to publish
On being a new institution
You will notice there are no student testimonials on this website. That is deliberate: we have not taught our first full cohort yet, so there is nothing genuine to show. When we have real students with real results who are happy to be quoted, this is where they will appear — with their names, their projects and their permission. Until then, judge us on the curriculum, the pricing and how we answer your questions.
Who teaches here
Every instructor is a practitioner first. We do not hire people to read a script — the person answering your question in the live session has shipped the kind of work you are learning to do.
What we require of anyone who teaches here
- Genuine professional experience in what they teach
- Current work in the field, not memories of it
- A trial live session before they take a cohort
- The patience to answer the same question three ways
- A willingness to say "I do not know, let me check"
- Feedback reviewed by us after every module
Taught by people who do the work
Every module is delivered by someone who works in the field it covers. That is the whole standard: if we would not hire them to build it, they do not teach it here.
Accountable every week
Live sessions are not a lecture broadcast. Students ask, challenge and bring their own broken code, and instructor feedback is reviewed after every module.
